shake that kitty , meeeow ! put your arms around me, babe boss woke up abruptly, her eyes still a blur as she swung her legs out of bed and into her flip flops. she was buzzing from her dream and immediately knew what she wanted to do and where. smiling dreamily she crouched down beside her bed and moved her hands underneath, grabbing and looking for a small box. on finding it she peeled it open and smiled at the contents. it was overflowing with chocolate, sweets and other snacks she loved. with bright, wide eyes she pulled a bag out from underneath the bed and tipped the contents inside, kicking the box back under the bed and leaving with her bad, grabbing her cardigan on the way out. sliding it over her shoulders, she ran a hand through her hair and immediately made for the boys cabins. it was around two o'clock in the morning and, as usual, she was headed to meet paris. he was the one she always went to when she woke up with a plan as he was a dark elf and so rarely slept at night – he was perfect, and she loved bringing him picnics and urging him to take her out on different adventures. she smiled at the thought and scurried along b the cabins to try and stay out of the light. she'd get in trouble if a guard caught her. well, unless it was stella, she wouldn't have minded, but she knew she wasn't meant to be out of her bed – it wasn't even nearing breakfast.
reaching the right cabin, boss peeked through the window to be greeted with the sight of a curtain. scowling to herself, boston moved to the front door and took a deep breath, gently knocking on it. she waited for a minute or so, convinced that paris would swing it open and invite her in, but this was not the case. perhaps she had knocked too quietly? she had no idea, but she slowly took the handle and pushed it down, sliding in between a tiny gap before shutting the door gently. "paris", she hissed, her loud whisper enough to attract attention but probably not to wake someone up. her eyes narrowed and she looked through the dark. being a werewolf, her eyesight was not good, but her sense of smell was phenomenal. she could smell him and she slowly made her way through the cabin, hissing his name until she found the bed which she was sure was his. "paris, I brought a picnic.. we need to go and eat it", she told him. her voice now was at a normal level, taking no measures to speak quietly to be particularly polite. no, she was being her loud, boisterous self as usual, and she expected that the men around would just accept it like they usually did. "come on perrypops, let goo..", she whined, pulling on his hand.
smiling pleasantly she moved between the beds and made her way out of the cabin, the sound of her flip flops against the wooden floor as she flopped towards the door. pulling open the door as quietly as she could, she slid between the gap, looking back to see if paris was following her. the dark made it difficult to see in the cabin. with all the curtains closed it was almost pitch black, but she could smell him, and expected him to be close. as boss stumbled outside, she slung her bag back around her and turned back, her pupils changing as the light flooded inside. it was dark, but with the various lights hung around the campsite, it made it feel safer, at least to boss.

WELCOME TO THE NEW DEJA VU , ALPHA DOGI CAN ALMOST SEE THE WIZARD THROUGH THE CURTAIN the sun had been down for some time and yet paris had yet to get out of bed. he'd spent a large portion of the day awake, socialising with his peculiar friends who, for some reason or another, seem enamored with the sun, even daylight as a whole. this was something paris couldn't understand, but that was down to his being a dark elf. he was born in the dark and practically raised in it, although it should be noted that dark elves don't have to surround themselves with darkness, they were just more a home there, think twilight vampires, if they stepped into sunlight they sparkled (i mean really. sparking vampires?), but they weren't allergic to it, that was the same thing with dark elves. except they did do anything a remotely pathetic as sparkling. they just looked a bit uncomfortable and pale, after all they spent the vast majority of their time in the dark, they were bound to look pale compared to everyone else. as a result of his daytime galavanting today, paris was quite tired, even though every cell in his body wanted to get up and explore, he felt much better snuggled under his quilt, still fully dressed and wearing his baseball cap. paris didn't own pajamas, if he didn't sleep fully clothed then it was buck nekkid, but when you share a cabin with four other dudes it's a bit uncool to walk around naked all the time. not paris would have minded doing so, but he was sure some of the other guys would protest. paris was only lightly dozing right now, the flicker of a smile on his face as he imagined peoples reactions to him going around naked for the day. it's something he would consider doing, having been something of an exhibitionist since he was young.
he wasn't in a deep enough slumber to miss the quiet knock on the door. frowning, his eyes shot open and it took a mere few seconds for his eyes to adjust to the dark. it was, after all, what he was born to see in - right? paris made no move to sit up, holding his breath so he could better hear what was going on. it must be in the early hours of the morning, why would someone be coming to visit their cabin now? he could safely assume the visitor was for him, one because he was that self-absorbed and two, because he was the only dark elf in this cabin, and thus more likely to have visitors in the middle of the night. paris. with that paris's body visibly relaxed and he let himself smile. boss was here. paris sat up in his bed, watching boss in amusement as she tried find her way to his bed, it always amused him to watch people struggling in the dark. he let her find him on her own, which she eventually did. "a picnic you say?" paris feigned thought, his own voice matching boss's in level - he saw no need to be quiet, the chances of their conversation waking the others was slim. throwing his covers off him dramatically paris jumped out of bed and latched onto boss's hand. "how can i say no to that!" he grinned brightly, not that she would be able to see very well mind you. paris ignored her whining, instead ditching his baseball cap and ruffling his hair rather halfheartedly, he wasn't very big on effort, although you could call him vain - he liked looking good but he didn't always try very hard.
with boss making her way back outside paris had no choice but to follow her, he found the sound of her shoes quite amusing and stifled laughter all the way to the door. boss stood waiting for him, framed by the light of the overhead lights outside. the bane of paris's existence here. even a night the idiots here felt the need to be shrouded in light. he had to walk quite a bit off camp grounds to find somewhere suitably dark, although he felt that was out of the question tonight. he didn't want to make boss feel uncomfortable, and was more than willing to be uneasy under the lights if it meant a better picnic over all. "do you know any good night picnicking spots?" he asked with a bemused expression, it hadn't even occurred to him to ask why she was up at this time, it supposed it didn't seem that strange to him, especially since this was not the first time boss had come to meet him in the middle of the night. it was nice to have friends who were so willing to lose sleep for you.

you can always count on me for sure that’s what friends are for , boss could hear paris' stifled laughter as she flip flopped her way out of the cabin, causing her to giggle a little on her own, chewing her bottom lip hard to stop herself. "shhh", she cooed, swinging her bag back round towards her back from where it had come unlogged. she was still in her pyjamas, not an unusual attire for boss to be seen in when it was technically bed time, but still a little odd considering she was off to a picnic – but it was okay, she was sure paris wouldn't think it odd. hell, he'd seen her in all sorts of clothes over the camp period. pushing the sleeves up on her cardigan she smiled, her hands resting on her slender hips as she turned. the flood of light shined off her every angle as she turned to face the door, her face looking very dark under the lights, yet her deep, dark hair looking shinier than ever. she loved it – it hid any perfections on her face, and made her hair look gorgeous and healthy. win win situation, no? well, no, as soon as paris stepped out into the light she felt guilty, knowing full well he didn't like it much. chewing her lip she shrugged, do you know any good night picnicking spots?.
"I hadn't really thought ahead that far", she grinned sweetly up at her friend, pushing her hair back behind her ears to show off her face, despite it being slightly darkened by the shadow from the lights. nevertheless, she thought hard for a mere moment before sticking her finger in the air. "I got it!", she exclaimed proudly, grinning from ear to ear like a child, "how about you and I take this lakeside? I'm in the mood to get my feet wet", she smiled brightly at paris, tilting her head to one side in wait of his answer. findling with her breast cancer awareness band absentmindedly, she chewed on her lip and looked at paris as he decided. she almost always wore the bands, only removing them when she was going out at night or if she forgot to put them back on afterwards – she liked having something to show her charitable side, and breast cancer was her charity of choice – over the years she'd done a lot for them, despite having an ounce of shelfishness in her sometimes. no, for the majority of the time she was a sweetheart. "you don't have much of a choice, you know that perrypops", she whispered loudly, smirking gently before turning on her heel.
walking ahead she glanced back at paris with a mischievous smirk, "it'll be morning if you don't hurry up with me.. ", she cooed. with paris she had her greatest adventures, spent her evenings doing what she pleased and without a moan from paris. he truly was one of her better friends – he didn't question when she wanted to do things, he just did them, and if boss didn't know he was gay she was sure she'd have already snaffled him up. "if we sit this side, we'll be a bit shaded by the trees.. you know, so it's not so light", she smiled tenderly, outstretching her hand for paris. boss was a very touchy feely girl, even with those she didn't know so well, and so it often confused people – she had just assumed that by now, paris knew she wasn't some sexual cougar and was actually just a girl who liked affection, because it made her feel loved. "oh, and I've got.. a lot or picnic sweets", she nodded wisely, a giggle creeping out from her lips as she smiled, shrugging her shoulders slightly.
