gimme gimme gimme what I want I want sunshine cause it's been too long anders was not amused, but it wasn't obvious on his face. his face stayed the same, no matter what emotion he felt, this blank canvas of neutrality. running a hand through his blond locks, he paced in the room, pushing his hands into his pockets deeply as he wandered slowly in a line, turning on his heel so abruptly before pacing back to where he had just come from. the room was empty, needless to say it was around six o'clock in the morning, but he felt contented there. the dorm had been slightly stuffy, with all the boys in there it tended to get that way, but anders couldn't sleep in the heat. it wasn't hot, but it felt on anders' cold, cold skin. he was uncomfortable, or was, because as he paced so peacefully he felt himself calming. had he been human, his heartbeat would've slowed, but it didn't, because he wasn't, and it was a continuous reminder of what had died one hundred and nine years ago for him.
he heard a click of feet coming down the hall, too slow to be a member of staff but too quick to be someone hiding. his eyes narrowed and he immediately crouched, his hand pressed against the floor between his legs and his fangs piercing, his lip raised to show them. but as the footsteps got closer he stood once more, realising what he was doing. seriously, he wasn't about to attack someone he didn't know, but he was so used to being on guard and being prepared to attack. chewing his bottom lip nervously, he moved behind one of the pool tables, resting his palms on the wood and standing on his tip toes, bringing him up past his already tall height of six feet and two inches to at least three or four. his teeth continued to chew, the anxiety of the approaching person making him cut himself, the wound oozing open.
the steps sound faded to silence, and anders' anxiety left him. he was hungry for blood and it made him nervous, and paranoid. growling to himself he pushed his fist into the table, feeling the pain at the edges of his knuckles before drawing back. he was tolerant, but a hungry anders was worse than a lot of things – especially worse than a hungry human. he was much worse than a human anything, even the types of humans that blacked out through anger and tossed their wives across rooms for forgetting to wash something up. no, hungry anders was like an angry lion, crouched in the corner and waiting for the next unsuspecting victim. why was he waiting? for the kitchens to open so he could get something to eat, a little raw steak to keep his energy up so he could go out and hunt down some deer or something. he didn't fancy ripping one of the pretty ladies' necks open for some blood.
nor did he like the idea of tangling with someone of a similar stature of him. shaking his neck, he let his eyebrows contract into a frown as he grumbled to himself. jumping over the back of the sofa he sat down, his arms folded across his broad chest and his feet up on the table in front, the sofa's springs groaning under his weight. it was so old, much like a lot of the equipment in that room, but it was well loved. "fucking lack of food", he scorned the staff, crossing his ankle sand digging his nails into his upper arms. he was angry, and the only way to contain it was to take it out on himself, evident by the slightly red marks now forming on his muscular arms.

just a small town girl Sometimes Cindy didn’t sleep very well at night. Often it was because she didn’t feel safe. Her whole life had been spent in the safety of her grandmother’s house and here at camp there were no quietly gurgling radiators or muted snores from her family to make the night less menacing. Tonight was especially quiet – the only things that Cindy’s sensitive ears could hear were leaves outside and the soft breathing of the other girls in her cabin. At one point one of them rolled over and mumbled something before returning to breathing slowly and evenly again. The sound of a voice shocked Cindy for a second, but she recovered as the almost silence became still again. Stretching her short arms out and making a sound halfway between a yawn and a purr, Cindy climbed out of bed and changed into some clothes instead of her teddy bear PJs. Yes, teddy bears. Cindy hadn’t grown much since she was twelve, so still wore the same pyjamas. It was about five o’clock in the morning, by Cindy’s reckoning, and she definitely wasn’t about to get any more sleep (she’d slept for a few hours until about three o’clock but after waking up to silence there was no hope of her falling back asleep again). So, as quiet as the night around her, Cindy left the cabin.
Outside, Cindy couldn’t decide whether she felt safer or not. On the one hand, she could see everything around her perfectly due to her superior tiger-sight, but on the other hand she was also far more exposed to anything dangerous around her. Of course, it was silly for her to feel threatened here; camp brook was one of the safest places for a person like her. However, she had the instincts of her an endangered animal and was always on edge. She continued to walk through the camp, her eyes and ears flickering and alert. At the moment she was stuck with her tiger ears and furry palms. Cindy was a terrible shifter and always ended up with at least one part of her still stuck as a tiger. Also, as she wasn’t yet fully grown neither was her tiger form, so consequently she didn’t have the sleek, smooth fur of an adult tiger, but she wasn’t cute and fluffy like a cub either. She was somewhere in between. This meant that her ears had fluffy tufts of hair coming out of the tops which looked a bit silly in her opinion. Still, she couldn’t do anything about it; at least Evan was teaching her how to control her powers a bit more.
Walking through a couple of corridors Cindy noticed that her feet were making slight sounds and froze for a second, taking off her shoes. Squeezing her eyes shut and focusing hard, Cindy tried to make her feet change a little. After a couple of seconds of struggling she felt the balls and heels of her feet soften up into the pads that cats had on their feet. She also ended up with fur up to her ankles but there wasn’t really much she could do about that, at least now she wouldn’t be heard and caught. Slowly progressing, her ears listening fervently for any signs of anyone nearby, she walked towards the rec room. She could wait there until breakfast when Evan or Ash or Walrus would come and see her. The thought made her smile and she walked through the door to hear someone talking. fucking lack of food. Cindy held her breath. She hadn’t heard anyone breathing here, which meant that either her hearing wasn’t as good as she thought, or the person didn’t need to breath. The vampires at the camp scared Cindy a little bit, maybe because she didn’t know much about them. One thing she did know is that they couldn’t feed off of her. She wasn’t a pure human and therefore wasn’t their food source. Right? That was what she thought anyway.
Walking into the room silently she bit her lip before speaking. `Swearing isn’t nice you know...’
it was a silly thing to say but Cindy’s granny had always taught her the same thing. Cindy didn’t swear. She was, overall, a very innocent seventeen year old. Curious as to who was in the room, she stepped forward slowly, her feet silent on the floor. `If you’re hungry then I could go and get some of the fruit bread I have in my room. It’s nice, I promise.’ Cindy said as she walked into the view of the other person in the room. She smiled a little, hiding her shoes behind her back. She felt a little silly for being bare foot in front of this person, a man. He was blonde just like her but seemed a little grumpier than Cindy normally liked. Maybe giving him some food would cheer him up. gimme gimme gimme what I want I want sunshine cause it's been too long the tiny voice that rattled anders' silence had come from the frailest of females, tiny slender limbs holding her at a tiny height. even the hair on her head was fine, bright blue eyes batting their thick lashes at him with a doe-eyed expression. for a moment he smirked, the tiniest smile pulling at the corners of his lips as the girl spoke. she was pure, he didn't even have to speak further with her to know it. why else would she have offered him fruit bread? it was clear to most people that he was not normal. he didn't wish to scare her, for she looked like the type of female who would cower in terror should she have seen his teeth. running hands over his eyes he shook his head, "not my kind of food", he told her. rubbing his eyes gently, he felt the sting of fatigue take over, letting his hands drop into his lap making a thud. "but thank you.. it's.. ", he paused, chewing his own bottom lip briefly, "sweet", he ended. he wasn't used to such niceness, particularly from females. it had been decades since anders had even felt the touch of a female, and even now he drew back from them – he feared killing them, or turning them. he wasn't about to make that happen again.
shuffling up on the sofa, he moved right to the other end up make space for this new girl. "you can sit", he told her. his voice was the only thing breaking the horrifying silence between them, not even the ticking of the clock loud enough to be any sort of comfort. "if you want.. I mean", he said, running a hand back and through his thtick blond locks with a half smile pulling at his lips. he didn't smile often, and rarely showed his emotions on his face, but this girl looked so small and weak that he was sure if he didn't smile, she might leave. he didn't want to be on his own again, especially not in his horrifically bad mood – he was worried what he might be capable of, if he could hear his own thoughts. toying with the bracelet on his wrist, he sat up straighter, turning the lifting his bare feet onto the sofa, his back against the arm as he looked across at her. she wasn't scared – he could usually see and sense fear, the twitching of their eyes and the sound of their heart thumping in his ears. but the girl wasn't scared, just a little.. odd.
"sorry for swearing.. I didn't realise I was in such company", he told her, using his hand to gesture out at her body as he shrugged his shoulders apologetically. he felt guilty for swearing in front of her. okay, so she was about seventeen, but she obviously didn't appreciate it. "I'll try to refrain from doing so in the future", he nodded towards her, folding his arms across his lap as he rested his back against the arm, his feet flat and his knees bent. he hoped his insanely pale feet wouldn't freak her out, but if they did, he'd merely explain.. what he was. he didn't mind explaining, he just hated the sort of cowering fear that always occurred afterwards and how everyone was very suddenly aware of their necks. he didn't chose to attack people, but in times when he was particularly hungry, he had no choice – he was weak from not feeding and couldn't hold back. "what're you doing up? I mean.. you're.. up.. early, and wandering around.. alone.. is that a wise choice?", he asked cautiously, wrapping his hands around his middle and resting them against his shirt, his fingernails digging into his sides gently as he went.
anders eyed the female very cautiously, unsure of how to act around her. because of her small stature and her innocent, child-like nature he felt the urge to protect her, like he would've done alice had she stil been alive like he was. but it was different. she was intriguing and the small curves of her body attracted his eyes, the slender legs that held her up right attracting his attention. "I mean, it's usually just me up at this time..", he told her, pulling a sideways face as he shrugged his shoulders further. it was true, at this time in the morning it was mostly him and his silence, tugging at his ears and making him paranoid, especially when he needed to feed.

just a small town girl Cindy hovered in the doorway for a while, waiting for the strangers reaction. He seemed to be evaluating her for a while before speaking. His voice was nicer when he wasn’t swearing, making Cindy smile a little. Even after all of this time she still had to get used to hearing someone speak without a welsh accent when she first heard them. Watching him rub his eyes, her ears flicked and she stepped a little closer to him. She wanted to put her big blanket over him and tell him to sleep because he looked tired. She blushed a little at the compliment he paid her and stepped a little closer; the floor felt weird under her feet. `Whenever I get hungry in the night I eat some, so I thought you might like some. It’s okay though if you don’t like it, I wouldn’t like to eat something I didn’t like.’
she said and hovered near the sofa he was sat on. Cindy spoke a little simply for her age, that was true, but it was in her nature. She hadn’t ever been provided with a reason to mature, so she remained immature and easily pleased. One day, something would happen to make her grow up but until then she remained as she was. At his invitation, Cindy sat on the sofa. She was comfortable with people once she started speaking to them. Now that the stranger was talking to her she didn’t mind sitting next to him. She wasn’t naturally suspicious of people nor was she scared of any of the actual people in the camp. Her instincts were silly, yes, but she wasn’t actually properly scared. Cindy watched him adjust how he was sitting; he seemed a little tense and nervous. She figured that maybe if she relaxed, then he would relax too. She smiled at him and curled her little legs up onto the sofa, curling them around her and leaning against the soft cushions. She smiled a little more when he apologised. `It’s okay, swearing is for when you’re really angry and you don’t seem really angry... If you swear when you’re not angry then what words would you use when you did get mad, see? In her head, the statement made sense, whether it made sense aloud however was another matter. She looked him over properly for the first time. He was older than her, but not too much so. He was still a camper, otherwise he would have told her off for being out of her cabin at this time. He was very white, even his feet. Cindy looked at them for probably a second longer than would have been considered normal, before looking up when he spoke to her again. Cindy shrugged at his questions. `I don’t always sleep well. It’s too quiet tonight. I woke up a couple of hours ago and couldn’t sleep and my cabin kind of freaked me out a little so I decided to go for a walk..’ she explained, playing with her long hair. `It’s okay, I can hear everything around here, well except you but you’re super quiet, so normally I’m safe walking around. Plus, if someone is going to catch me, I can run quite fast so I don’t normally get caught.’ she finished, her fingers moving to smooth the hair around her ankles. She’d abandoned her shoes to the floor a while ago. The fur was halfway between fluffy and smooth and wouldn’t lay flat no matter how many times Cindy pushed it down. `Do you not sleep well either? You wouldn’t guess it you know, your eyes don’t have any bags under them like mine do if I don’t sleep enough.’ Cindy looked at his face a little more. `You’re really pale. Is that because you don’t go outside or because you’re a vampire?’ Cindy wasn’t a naturally subtle person. She tended to say what she thought. Her voice was perfectly smooth, apart from the welsh lilt to her words. After all, she wasn’t scared of vampires, and she was curious about this new person. At that moment she realised she hadn’t introduced herself. `Oh! I’m Cindy by the way.’ She said with a cute smile. words 704 picture caution! stop annie time! lyrics journey - don't stop believin' layout meeee comments this is poo, sorry. center] gimme gimme gimme what I want I want sunshine cause it's been too long the girl made him smile. the way she spoke, her innocent nature and the perfectly naïve feel to the way she hovered at the door, her hands behind her back and wrapped tightly around her shoes. the accent, the twang in her voice made a grin tug at the corners of anders' lips as he watched her, chattering on as if they were previously friends. but this wasn't the case, and he was so amused with her that he didn't notice her shuffling closer. "well, that seems sensible.. I mean, you shouldn't have to do something you don't want to or don't like to do.. life wouldn't be very nice like that, now would it?". he told her, feeling wiser than he knew he was. he was old and had gained a lot of knowledge over the years, but he felt more at ease with his knowledge with Cinderella. breathing silently, he let his lips curl to a small smile, eyeing her thoughtfully. she was adorable, the smallest, cutest ball of sweetness and so.. unlike anders, yet he felt drawn to her. "you've very logical", he told her tenderly, running a hand quickly through his fringe and pushing it off his pale face as he looked back at her, hovering around the other end of the sofa.
her slender legs curled up onto the sofa and he wriggled his feet away from her nervously, worried she might feel the ice cold temperature of his skin on her bare feet and jump back in fright. he wouldn't have been confused – it was only natural for her to be nervous about his temperature, and only natural for him too. again, her logic was profound to him, this intelligence coming from this tiny, childlike person who sat before anders. it confused him slightly, he his let himself grin back for only a moment, before his face slipped back into it's neutral look, his lips set like stone on his face. "again, your logic shows", he told her, sitting up slightly. his back went straight and his legs became crossed, his hands resting on his knees as he stared across at her. she had a point – if he kept swearing and being angry about things, what would he do when he was really angry? her appearance had calmed him, and although the smell of her blood in the air was making him hungry, he wasn't so vicious about it as before. "I don't swear a lot.. or often.. I'm just a little bit hungry, is all.. I haven't..eaten in a few days", he told her, nodding slowly as he spoke. he never spoke about eating, more feeding, but he was avoiding the topic of what he was – it would make him uncomfortable with her if she fled and he didn't feel like he would enjoy being alone again, not just yet.
watching her play with her hair, he let his eyes glaze her face and study each mark and line on it, framed by her long, blonde hair. it was beautiful, but watching her play with it really was hypnotising, so much so that he almost didn't realise she was speaking. chewing the inside of his cheek he let his fingers pull at the lose threads on the sofa, he listened. she was similar to him, not being able to sleep so taking a walk. just for him, it happened all the time. "I take it, you're a shifter", he said, nodding at her. he could see, physically, she wasn't like everyone else – the fur that was around her ankles gave that away, and the only other option was a werewolf, but he would've smelt that. vampire. the word rang painfully in his ears and he frowned slightly, shaking his head off slightly as if the word would remove it's self and time would go back. "yeah.. I'm a vampire", he sighed, "the leader of them, here at least", he told her. "I understand if you want to leave..", he told her, his face totally neutral and his words lifeless. but as he finished he watched her face brighten and her introduce herself, his eyes widening slightly. "I'm anders.. it's nice to meet you.. I'd shake your hand if you don't mind the cold", he said, gesturing with his hand. honestly, he was shocked- most people ran the other way, sat awkwardly and then left with a bad reason. but cindy.. she was different, that was clear.

just a small town girl It was nice that, the more they talked, the more the other person seemed to smile. It made Cindy smile more. She liked knowing that other people were happy, and since this person had her trouble sleeping too, she felt even more need to make sure that he was happy. It was very easy for Cindy to bond with people, maybe because she always looked for the good and likable things instead of the bad things. When some people looked to see if the person was trustworthy or friendly, Cindy looked to see if they had nice coloured eyes or whether they were gentle. She rubbed her eyes with her hands for a couple of seconds, trying to erase the remainders of drowsiness. Now that someone was around for her to talk to, she didn’t want to be falling asleep. She raised her eyebrows as he said about not eating, but didn’t ask any questions. Maybe he’d been sick and hadn’t eaten yet or maybe he had some sort of eating problem or something else that Cindy wasn’t allowed to ask about. She was very conscious of her manners. She kept watching him, her eyes recognising that he was looking at her too. This made her blush a little, though she wasn’t sure why. Her confusion felt funny too, a little bit jittery in her stomach.
She nodded to his statement. `Yes, but I’m not a very good one.’
she said, nodding down at her ankles. `I only meant to change my feet so that I’d be quiet, but it’s all up my ankles. I can’t get rid of my ears a lot of the time either. I’m a bit of a mix of a tiger and a person all of the time...’ Cindy squeezed her eyes shut for a second and made her feet return to normal, the fur shrinking back into her skin easily. He seemed worried by her question about what he was. Cindy smiled as he told her, ignoring his invitation to leave. `I don’t want to go.’ she said with a smile, holding her hand out to shake. `If you’re worried about being too cold I can always do this.’ she added, growing her fur across her hands. `It’s hard to get cold when you’ve got a fur coat like mine.’ She shrugged and shook his hand. His skin was cold, yes, like taking a bottle of milk out of the fridge. Still, it wasn’t super freezing cold. Cindy squeezed his hand gently and smiled. `It’s nice to meet you Anders the leader of the vampires.’ Saying his full name seemed to confirm to her what he was. She was aware that vampires were dangerous, but being scared of them didn’t make them any less dangerous, so why bother? Taking her hand back to normal, she reached out to shake his hand again. `I’m curious about how cold you really are.’ she explained, shuffling a little closer to him so their feet touched. He was cold, but not unbearably so. She smiled at him reassuringly. `I’ve never been friends with a vampire before; you can be my first vampire friend, if you want?’ Cindy blushed a little again as she spoke, not sure why the idea of being friends with Anders was quite so appealing to her. `You know, you vampires aren’t really as scary as you think. After all, you only eat different stuff to the rest of us. So do tigers though, they like to eat all sorts of things that humans think shouldn’t be eaten. Just because you don’t eat McDonalds doesn’t make you terrible.’ she proclaimed happily. She swung her legs around so they hung off of the sofa and shuffled up a little closer to him; Cindy didn’t comprehend how big people’s personal space was. Still, she wasn’t touching any points of his body anymore, so she couldn’t be too close. `You’re kind of like polar bears – they’re pale and live in cold places and attack things weaker than them. Plus, people think polar bears are scary and will attack them, but really it’s just because wild animals don’t understand humans intentions and humans don’t understand animals ones either. Does that make any sense?’ Cindy blushed suddenly again, looking away as her cheeks lit up. `Sorry, I talk a lot...’ words 720 picture caution! stop annie time! lyrics journey - don't stop believin' layout meeee comments i like this one :3 POLYVOREEEE[/blockquote][/blockquote]

gimme gimme gimme what I want I want sunshine cause it's been too long anders laughed gently as he watched her, the fur on her ankles disappearing with great concentration. she didn't have great control over herself, in fact it seemed to be little, but at least it was harmless – she wasn't about to accidentally rip his face off or anything, just sprout a little fur now and then. but although she couldn't get rid of her ears, they did look sweet, perched on top of her head and looking all twitchy. they were cute, in an odd sort of way, even if they weren't quite human. it wasn't like he was, anyway. "you're not particularly in control of your ability, then", he smiled, reaching out very slowly to touch the back of her ear, stroking the soft fur gently before pulling his hand back quickly. shooting her a sideways smile, he shrugged his shoulders nad bit his cheek inside, chewing it furiously. "soft", he told her with a timid smile. he could tell she was a tiger, the ears gave it away, but she had a certain curiosity to her that was associated with tigers. the way she peered back at him and asked him questions to bluntly, intrigued with him just as he was with her. "you can tell you're a tigress", he told her teasingly, a mischievous smile piercing his lips and causing him to expose his teeth. luckily his fangs were hidden, as thtey usually were unless he was feeding or scaring someone, but he usually left that to the others.. yes, he was one of the calmer, nicer vampires.
he watched her hand stretch out to greet him, his face showing how frankly puzzled he was that she didn't want to leggit. as he stalled for a moment, he watched as she let herself grow fur across her hand, his face brightening slightly. his eyes looked less dull, like a spark had been ignited inside his mind. his pale hand outstretched and took hers, gently shaking it, careful not to crush her tiny hand in his. "it's a pleasure to meet you, miss cindy the not so good shifter", he smiled tenderly, slowly letting go of her hand and letting his crawl back to his lap. she had no idea how much he appreciated her making this effort with him. growing fur across her hand just to touch him, the conversation following what he thought of as his horrific secret. "I really appreciate it.. most people run a mile when they find out.. well, you know", he shrugged, letting his gaze move from hers to gaze over the sofa back and at the well worn felt of the pool table, studying it as he propped an arm up on the back, resting his head in his hand lazily. "anders will do", he added, winking a little back at the female. his teeth were still furiously chewing at the inside of his cheek, pulling at the flesh. it should've cut him, and if it had nothing would've happened. how a normal person would've bled, he wouldn't, and it only reminded him of his state.
as she spoke, he turned his attention back towards her, looking attentively on as she spoke. "well.. I don't have a heartbeat, so how the blood is all being pumped around your body and keeping you alive.. I'm.. not", he explained, looking at the blue veins which ran against his pale skin, weaker in colour than when he had been human, but so visible against his pasty alabaster skin. he pressed his feet against her, timidly rubbing his toes up against hers as if they were tiny people, cuddling together. her skin looked so dark against his, but he knew she wasn't tanned – she would've been considered relatively pale, but against him, she was no where close. "I don't feel cold.. I feel hot, but only when the sun hits me. I have to stay out of the sun", he nodded firmly, knowing full well how painfully hot it felt even when it came through a darkened window. he laughed as cindy blushed, nodding his head slowly and shuffling a little closer. "I'd love to be your first vampire friend", he smiled. he noticed shortly that he had smiled more within the minutes of meeting that girl than he had probably in his entire life. she was a light, for him, which didn't burn.
anders was absolutely and truly mesmerised by this female. the words she spoke, twirling and dancing into his brain and making his eyes almost mist over as he stared at her, not needing to blink as he listened with a soft smile curling his lips. she stopped briefly in between speaking, not allowing for a gap for anders to fill with his own words, but she soon realised. he smiled and laughed a little as she realised she'd been rabbiting away, expressing her thoughts so directly with words. "it's fine, you're.. you have a nice voice", he told her, sweeping his fringe back with his fingers. breathing in deeply he prepared to speak, to answer all of which she had stated previously. "we aren't that scary.. people just dramatise stories, and so everyone is terrified of us.. I mean, I would never feed on someone here.. I only feed on humans who're bad for society", he told her, hoping she'd appreciate the thought and not be horrified at the idea of him sucking all the blood out of someone or leaving them for dead. no, he had more class than that.. he took murders, or child molesters, or anyone he knew had done wrong. of course, as the police system got better, it got more difficult for him, but all those crimes never solved? usually the perpetrator had been victim to a vampire. he enjoyed her being closer, the feel of her body heat, but the smell of her blood was difficult to resist. he breathed shallow breaths and tried to avoid her face or neck, where the smell was most prominent. "people just.. assume I'll eat them.", he stated with a heavy sigh.

just a small town girl Cindy shook her head at his comment, no, she wasn’t in control really at all. She wasn’t really in control of her nature either – as soon as he petted her ears a very soft purr moved through her throat. It wasn’t something she could help. As soon as Cindy liked something, she purred. Often, when people played with her hair or petted her fur she ended up purring like a domestic cat. His teasing only made her smile more. Cindy naturally adored attention and Anders was giving her plenty of that; another reason for her to like him more. `I guess that... If you don’t have blood going around your body then you must need other peoples blood because it has oxygen in it?’
she asked curiously. Though Cindy wasn’t brilliant academically, far from it, she understood basic concepts and the body’s need for oxygen was one of these basics. Still, she wasn’t really fussed about an answer. His next comment distracted her as he agreed to be her friend and made her stomach do backflips. Her mouth spread into a wide smile, showing all of her little teeth, some of her teeth a little sharper than most people’s due to her felinity. Once again, his compliments made her body go a little funny. She felt like her belly might be backflipping or something. Cindy usually felt tingly at random times when her fur tried to sprout out of her skin, but this was a different kind of tingle. It made her face go hot and her hands go sweaty and her feet twitch. She felt a little bit like Aladdin might feel at Christmas when he was watching the clock until it was seven o’clock in the morning when he knew he was allowed to run into Cindy’s room and demand to open presents. Her brother was just as excitable as she was, though not showing any shifter qualities so not allowed to come to camp with her in a years time when he’d be old enough. We aren’t that scary... Cindy smiled. No, vampires weren’t scary. They were just like normal people, but ones that sunburnt easily and only liked certain flavours. They were fussy eaters. For an insane moment Cindy thought of her nan and how she had always complained when Cindy was younger because she wouldn’t eat half of the stuff put in front of her. Cindy continued to listen to Anders, nodding when he finished. His sigh made her want to give him a hug. Still, they’d only just met and that may be a bit too much, so instead she patted his hand, rubbing her thumb across the back of it. `All the animals think I’ll eat them because I’m a tiger, but I don’t. I don’t know if that is a helpful analogy, but I’ll tell you anyway.’ she said with a little smile before twitching and facing the door. Her ears had detected the slightest rustling of fabric that sounded a little like someone walking. Cindy tensed and listened harder for a second until she heard the echo of someone breathing in the spacious corridors. With one look at Anders she could tell he’d heard it to. With an apologetic expression Cindy jumped up silently and kissed his cheek briefly before crossing the room and opening one of the windows quickly to climb out of. As soon as she landed outside she stretched and in a weird motion shrank down into a tiger form so that she could run off outside where she wouldn’t be caught for being out of her cabin out of hours. When she looked behind her she saw a pale figure climbing out of the same window and heading in the opposite direction. Her stomach flipped again. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too long until she saw him again... words 657 picture caution! stop annie time! lyrics journey - don't stop believin' layout meeee comments FIN. godmodding to stop the need for another reply. now to put into archives.
