He knew this, and everyone in the camp knew it. He was in a camp because he was “different” at least that’s what his parents always told him. Though they always said he was a good kind of different. This was all good when Alec was young and living in Athens. Though now that he was more grown up he sometimes thought it wasn’t a good kind of different. After all, he had to leave his hometown Athens to come to this dumb camp. The camp had taken him away from his friends, family, and everything he loved. Worst of all the camp made him shy.
Alec definitely didn’t like the camp because he never had down time. When he did he usually just went to his cabin and chilled by himself. Though there were the few times that he went to the lake. One of those few times was going to be today. He was ditching all his activities and going to the lake to relax and just be alone. The only problem was going to be if someone else was there. He usually didn’t like to be at the lake whenever some other people were. He didn’t hate people in fact Alec was always happy. He saw well in everyone, even some demons. It’s just that it was annoying because of his shyness.
Alec was headed down to the lake. Though he was incredibly happy because it seemed like most were headed to their activities. So more than likely the lake would be clear. Then he stepped on a few sticks and heard them crack underneath his feat. Then out of nowhere he heard a voice. At least he though he did, but he wasn’t exactly sure. That was until he saw a girl. Then he smiled, but looked away from his shyness. He hated the shyness. He knew that if he actually got to know people then he wouldn’t be shy, but it was just the way he was. He was surprised by the girl a bit. The girl was beautiful, he had never seen a girl that good looking before. Still a bit shy he knew he had to speak up. “Um, hey…” He said just loud enough for her to hear.

He didn’t know why a girl would be at the lake. Today was a day full of activities. He didn’t think anyone would want to miss the day. Well except him, he hated the camp. With capital H-A-T-E-D, that’s how much it sucked. At least it sucked that bad to him. Who would want to go to a camp just to be filled with things to do, day in and day out, it made no sense. Oh well, maybe this girl was like him, hated the camp for making him leave his home, friends, and family. It honestly was completely crap.
Alec looked at the girl again. She was so beautiful, her eyes were just the right color of blue. Then though he noticed she was in her bikini. This only made things even more awkward. After all, Alec didn’t know the girl, though he was attracted to her and her being in a bikini made him kind of shyer, but he was going to try and not be shy. He smiled at her and looked into her eyes. They were so mesmerizing. “Um… I just like it out here, also because I didn’t want to do my activities.” He said still a bit quiet. He was unsure of what to say. It was obvious to him that she was also a camper. Heck she was probably younger than him. At least one year younger.
Alec was still kind of unsure of what to do. Should he turn back and go to his activities or should he just stay here? After all, it was only a girl, but she was incredibly angelic. That was the one thing he couldn’t get off his mind, her beauty. Her body was one thing, but he eyes and hair were also amazing. Unsure if she would leave or stay so he decided to just do what he normally did here, go swimming. So he walked to the table that was near the shore. He took off his shirt and left it on the table. He walked toward the water. Come on just ask her name. He thought to himself. It’s not that hard Alec. He told himself. His shyness sucked sometimes. So then he turned to her and smiled again. “So, what’s your name?” He said with an even brighter smile.

She smiled brightly when he asked for her name, because that meant that she had sparked some form of interest. It's Addilyn, but you can call me Addie. And who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?[/color] She looked up at him and smiled brightly and then ran into the water.
